Psalm 18:1-3

God is My Rock
1 He said: I love you, Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my solid rock,
    my fortress, my rescuer.
My God is my rock—
I take refuge in him!—
        he’s my shield,
        my salvation’s strength,
        my place of safety.
3 Because he is praiseworthy,[b]
I cried out to the Lord,
and I was saved from my enemies.
Psalm 18 opens with a bold declaration: God is our rock and refuge. In life’s battles and uncertainties, we can stand firm, knowing He is unshakable. When we feel overwhelmed, He is our fortress—our place of safety and strength.

Reflection Question:
Where do you need to lean on God’s strength instead of your own?
