Lessons from a Messy Church: Turning Conflict into Reconciliation
Nov 2, 2025 • Dave Atkins
When broken people gather, there will be mess. But in Christ, even the mess can become a miracle. In this message, we look at one of the most difficult moments in the Corinthian church—a scandal, a confrontation, and a surprising call to remove someone from the community. But the goal was never punishment—it was restoration. And in Paul’s second letter, we see reconciliation unfold. Through love, truth, and grace, the church is called not to cancel, but to correct, restore, and reaffirm. This is what it means to carry out the ministry of reconciliation in a broken world. In Christ, even the hardest conflicts can lead to healing.
