Responses to Jesus

When life doesn't go as expected, how do we respond to Jesus? In Matthew 26:47–75, we see three different reactions—from Judas' betrayal, to Peter's denial, to the religious leaders' rejection. Each response challenges us to examine our own hearts: Are we trying to control Jesus, resist Him, or follow from a distance? And through it all, we see the grace of a Savior who still invites us back.
